 FSTI is engaged in may areas of training for emergency services and disaster support, including the amateur radio community. Many local agencies have established Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) teams as part of their emergency operations plans. FSTI will be developing special ICS programs for ARES and amateur radio clubs participating in emergency services.
